Sprint is introducing two new colors to the Palm Centro line. The new colors are "rose" and "lime." With these colors Palm is definitely emphasizing a personal nature to the phones rather than business. The new colors should be hitting Sprint stores sometime late next month. ...read more
Palm is really keeping up with the updates for the Treo 800w. The device has only been out for about 7 weeks and Palm has released 2 updates already. It would be better not to require these updates, but we have to give props to Palm for acting quickly in regards to these problems.
Users can install the update over the air, or by downloading the file to a PC. WE did the over the air install and it went without a hitch. Simply direct your browser to read more
The Palm Treo is barely out and it has already been reviewed over at Engadget. We have to agree with most of their conclusions, especially in regard to the keyboard and display.
On the keyboard engadget says, "the odd, jellied feel of this QWERTY is still uncomfortable and imprecise, and more often then not you'll find yourself backtracking to correct clumsy mistakes."
As for the display they say, "a standard 320 x 320 resistive touchscreen, and we're getting a bit tired of these cramped work...read more
The Palm Treo Pro is official so let the unboxing begin. Here's a nice unboxing video courtesy of Brighthand. It's more than just an unboxing video as Brighthand gives us so much information on the Treo. This is like a mini review.
One thing we don't like about the Treo Pro is the Centro-like keyboard. The keyboard on the Treo 800w is so much better we can't understand why Palm insists on using the smaller single strip keyboard. Oh well....read more
Now that the Palm Treo Pro is official, engadget decided to take it through an unboxing. They like the fact that there is no recessed screen, and the HTC task manager are included. They even mention that Palm has done a great job with the packaging and might rival Apple.
We're still concerned with the small keyboard a la the Palm Centro. We still prefer the larger keyboard that the Palm Treo 800w includes.

It appears some nutball posted this picture on eBay claiming to sell a Treo 800w for $349. Although the ad did say Treo 800w, the picture along with a huge amount of blue text, large text, and small text was going to cause major confusion. Not surprisingly, the auction has been yanked....read more
Is this the Treo 850 or the Treo Pro -- or both? Some members of the WMExperts forums found some official looking photos on a Palm domain. Interestingly, the photos are now missing from the Palm domain.
You can see in the photo that the keyboard looks small, like the Centro keyboard. Could this be a Centro-sized Windows Mobile device that is smaller than the Treo 800w? Our guess is that the Treo 850 will be a GSM version of the 800w while the Treo Pro will be a smaller Windows Mobile devic...read more
Better late than never? Maybe, but this seems very late. Palm has posted an update for the Verizon version of the Palm Treo 700p. Sure some people still use the old phone, but it's 2 full years after its release. Most people who are even aware that they need an update, are probably looking at Centros and other phones.
The ROM update is available on Palm's support site at the link below. Beware that users who are still running the original 700p 1.06 ROM will need to update to v1.10 BEFOR...read more
