Treo 800w coming to Verizon?

There have been so many rumors about the next Windows Mobile Treo that some of it is likely true. The next Windows Mobile Treo is supposedly the Treo 800w but nobody has come up with anything firm, yet.
A member of the WMExperts forums reports they had a meeting with some Palm sales people and actually handled the upcoming Verizon Treo 800w. The source says the new Treo 800w will have the following features:
Wifi
EvDO Rev. A
Threaded SMS
If Palm does indeed release a Treo 800w and it does end up looking like the Centro, we will have one question. Why would Palm go back to the straight keyboard layout (like the original Treo), instead of using the curved layout like the current Treo?

that's your only question?! about the keyboard curving? christ. i want to know why they took a 755, made it look more like the centro and are now releasing it as something new and better. why can't palm pull their collective heads out of their a$$es ...more

TREO 800W
Sadly, my corp IT guys tell me "Never" for VZW. Too many performance issues. Hope they're wrong, but they have an inside track to VZW....more
